Video of the AMAZING Bordeaux Panel Tasting in NYC!

Check out the fab video of Yr Mst Hmbl & Obdt Svt along with the other Le Wine Buffs, April Bloom, Megan Wiig, Erin McGrath, Rebecca Chapa, Mollie Battenhouse, as we slogged and spat our way through 225 wines in a day and a half.  We were graciously hosted and fed at Bobby Flay's "Bar Americain" and I can't say enough about the wonderful service, staff and great food. Thanks to Rebecca for reminding me about one tasting description I used for the worst wine of the day..."I would rather French kiss my dog than put this wine in my mouth!"  Got voted best line of the day!

Sunday night dinner "en famille" with the Buffs and Barbara and her husband at Bistro Benoit. Four paw up (meaning I was on my back wanting a belly rub when dinner was over!) and got "dragged" voluntarily to karaoke where I did sing two numbers.  It was a hoot. Treated myself to dinner at Felidia, Lydia Batianich's off the hook Italian Restaurant on 51st St.  Big props to Casey behind the bar, the amazing chef who brought my plates out personally and John the Merrill Lynch dude who kept my wine glass full and paid for my meal! You guys were lots of fun.

gee, I think I'm starting to really like New York!

Will report on the Bordeaux wines when I get the score sheets and master list, as we tasted them all blind!
